Completion of water cisterns in Denglongshan

On November 8, 2010, 19 new water cisterns were completed in the Miao village of Denglongshan with the cooperation of all the villagers and the catholic of Luliang, and especially funded completely by SP Edify (Macau Saint Paul School Fund for Educational Infraestructure in Yunnan). Every family has one water cistern with a capacity of 22 cubic meters, enough to solve the drinking water problem for that family and their animals. Denglongshan can, in this way, break away from the drinking water problems and the days of using oxen carts to carry water.

""Drinking water does not forget the person who dug the well"", all the villagers in Denglongshan are especially grateful, they thank SP Edify and all the people who has helped them. After a short inauguration ceremony, all the villagers say farewell to SP Edify representative with emotional songs...as they needed to go to another Miao village with very serious problems of drinking water.
